The prompt word toward the end of October- ominous. Ravens are known to bring ominous news! Although that may be influenced from Game of Thrones (I miss that show!), 'Dark wings, dark words", as Old Nan used to say! Ahh, final day of Inktober...and for the word ripe, I couldn’t help but think of signs of spring/summer returning to the land of Westeros after everything...everything!! The battle with the Night King is over and so is the battle for the Iron Throne. Injured - That time when Jon Snow and Ghost were injured from the long night battle with the undead. They surprisingly survived but not without injuries and losses.
This scene where they were together resting and recovering did not happened in the tv show, but I can imagine it did! I decided to skip posting some of the Inktober Days here since they weren't really good. But you can view the entire Inktober on my IG account: @dittofunkysketch123 :D
Inktober Day 25 - Tasty - That time when Arya stopped by the inn where Hot Pie worked. He still makes tasty pies but now Arya knows how to make pies as well!
That time when Samwell Tarly tasked himself to save Ser Jorah Mormont from greyscale. It was not an easy task since it requires the removal of one scale at a time! Also every time the scale was removed, the skin oozes, so yeah, not a very pleasant sight! In the beginning, it would make Sam woozy or dizzy, but he was able to complete the task!
Spirals added for embellishment of course! This was oddly chosen for adobeawards stories feature. It was pretty cool that they animated the piece tho! *I have already completed the entire Inktober- you can check it out on my IG account: @dittofunkysketch123 :D
Ancient - The Children of the Forest were around are ancient, mysterious non-human race that long existed and inhabited Westeros way before the arrival of the First Men; 12,000 years before Robert’s Rebellion, according to GoT wiki!
This was inspired by the incredible makeup and costume done on the tv show with a little bit of embellishment on my part!
Jon Snow’s faithful companion. In the beginning of the first few seasons, Ghost seem to come and go and Jon would wonder where he went! Like a ghost! Sometimes appearing outta nowhere! Treasure - That time when Illario gifted Daenerys with dragon eggs, a gift for her wedding to Khal Drogo. The 3 dragon eggs came in a chest and are rare to find. Tread - That time when Meera and Jojen Reed follow the treads of Hodor, Osha, and Rickon to find Bran Stark so they can take him north of the Wall. Bran would sometimes warg into Summer and/or Hodor and follow their treads.

I love the Reed siblings- they left all the warmth of their home to travel north to find Bran and to take him even further north to find the Three-eyed Raven. Meera is the unsung hero who kept Bran safe throughout the entire journey. It’s too bad how things were left off between Bran and Meera at the end.
That time when Jaime Lannister has his right hand chopped off by Roose Bolton’s man, Locke. Jaime had to wear his chopped hand around his neck but when Locke and his men brought Jaime and Brienne to Roose, Roose reprimanded Locke and had Jaime’s wound bandaged and on a sling.
That time when Tyrion and Bronn walked away from the Eyrie after winning a trial by combat. I like to think of them as a couple of misfits traveling the mountain roads passing by the knights of the Vale, Vale commoners and hill tribesmen! *I have already completed the entire Inktober- you can check it out on my IG account: @dittofunkysketch123 :D
Legends and folklore is huge in Game of Thrones book series, one in particular is the legend of ‘Azor Ahai’, the warrior who drove the darkness away with his sword Lightbringer. How he forged the sword to bring the end in darkness was by plunging it into his wife’s heart. her soul and the hot blade created Lightbringer. A new ‘Azor Ahai’ was supposed to come again and many believe it to be either Daenerys Targaryen or Jon Snow.

I think end the end it’s Jon Snow if the prophecies were interpreted this way- the ‘long night’ being Daenerys mad reign. A more detailed explanation can be found on distractify.com!
That time when the remaining Stark kids, Bran and Rickon have to flee from Winterfell. Bran of course can’t walk so it’s a good thing he had the overgrown Hodor to carry him. Some thought Hodor descended from giants! -
And of course when I think of dragon, I think of Drogon and Daenerys Targaryen- “The First is Her Name, The Unburnt, Queens of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Realm, Lady Regent of the Seven Kingdoms, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons”.
